Sponsorship at Lakeside Miniature Railway

We are currently looking to re-generate Our Marine Parade Station

A few statistics about our railway.

• Lakeside Miniature Railway (LMR)  has been running continiously for 95 years,

• LMR is the oldest continually running 15"Gauge (38.1cm) railway in the world.

• LMR's line was extended to Marine Parade Station in 1948 which now serves the new Ocean Plaza Development

• We have approximately 40.000 visitors every year form all ages.

• We have 5 Locomotives

• The Railway line is 800 Yards (731.5metres)

We have various area that we would like people or organisations and businesses to sponsor.

2007 were looking to get our Marine Parade Station. This were are looking for a sponsorship agreement for 3 years and a sponsorship fee of £600.

These Include:

• Duke of Edinburgh (Built 1948) Locomotive

• Prince Charles (Built 1954) Locomotive

• Princes Park Station (The old station)

• Pleasureland Signal Gantry

• Dustbins at Marine Parade Station

• Station Sign at Marine Parade

• Carriages Seatback cards.

These areas for sponsorship range from £150.00 per year to sponsor a dustbin to £2000.00 to Sponsor a Locomotive for 5 years

Andy Higgins our project Co-ordinator has been in regular contact with the local and national press for our two Locomotive that are in need of repair. Your sponsorship would help get them back into regular use.
